It is a great place to kick back and relax. Along with that, you can hear the wild turkeys in the nearby tree tops. Also, once you reach the top, there are many trails that split off, which gives you plenty of room to explore.
Lehner’s Mammoth Kill Site
This setup is to help display a mammoth that was discovered during the 1970s. One of the best things about Lehner’s Mammoth Kill Site is the spectacular views that you will get from the center of the valley. It would be a good idea to bring a GPS; however, keep in mind that you will only be able to track Lehner’s road. The history of Lehner’s Mammoth Kill Site is that about 11,000 years ago, the natives hunted and killed a mammoth, and after this was discovered, he was put on display for people to witness the enormity of such a creature.
Beatty’s Miller Canyon Apiary And Orchard
The great thing about this location is that they offer overnight accommodation. Also, this is the greatest place in the Sierra Vista area to witness hummingbirds in large quantities. The best time to go to see the hummingbirds would be early in the day because this is when they are most active. Also, it is well worth the price that you will pay. Another great place to just sit back and relax.
Fort Huachuca Museum
This is a phenomenal place to go to learn about the buffalo soldiers. There are many quiet and peaceful views that you will get. The grounds are well maintained. In all, there are three different museums at Fort Huachuca that are very informative and interesting. There is a history cemetery, and you will also find great canyon art that was done centuries ago that will take you through time. There is also a movie room where you could easily spend a couple hours before you see it all. The great thing about this place is that the exhibits are always changing, so you will never run out of things to see.
